EDvance Summit 2026 brings together policymakers, educators, technologists, researchers, and business leaders to forge practical solutions that turn Africa’s connectivity challenges into opportunities.
The three-day international conference will be held at KSTVET’s Nairobi campus from 7 – 9 October, 2026.Â
The EDvance Summit addresses one of the most consequential challenges facing the continent: ensuring that the rapid pace of digital transformation in education translates into real skills, real employment, and real economic participation for African learners at every level. The conference draws together evidence, policy, practice, and technology across three focused days, each with its own thematic strand.
- Day 1 Access and Equity: reaching every learner, regardless of geography, gender, or connectivity
- Day 2 Learning and Teaching: digital transformation in the classroom, AI in education, and teacher capacity
- Day 3 Skills and Economy: pathways from digital learning to employment, vocational credentials, and Africa’s participation in the global digital workforce
The programme combines curated keynote symposia, paper sessions, parallel practitioner workshops, a research poster exhibition, an EdTech exhibition floor, and a conference gala dinner. Sessions are designed for working professionals, researchers, and policymakers, with a strong emphasis on practical application and cross-sector exchange. Innovation awards will recognise the most impactful and evidence-based innovations in digital education, EdTech, TVET, and workforce development showcased at EDvance Summit 2026.
